Completion of the construction of the stadium with football field and athletics track of Olympic specifications, multiple sports venues with facilities management, and construction of an auxiliary, fully equipped field with turf. The stadium was constructed in a plot of 120 acres at the western entrance of the city of Heraklion and its total capacity is 25,000 seats. The 32,00sqm areas under the stands host rooms for various sports (gymnastics, table tennis, judo, weightlifting, boxing, wrestling, swimming, etc.) and include locker rooms, sauna, restaurant, public areas and management offices. On the surroundings were developed car parks, roadways, and an auxiliary field with turf, athletics locker room.
